I noticed something about the Arlo system that is a bit frustrating. I have one camera facing the driveway and one camera facing the garage. I noticed that if the driveway one is recording and then there is motion on the garage one (or really any other one) within the same time it’s recording the first feed, the 2nd won’t record. So basically it doesn’t think there’s any motion elsewhere. Once the motion leaves the first camera the others are fine. Is this normal behavior? I have 2 bases so I’m going to try moving one camera to the other base to see if this resolves the issue. Anyone notice this?

Change your motion settings such that if the driveway is triggered the garage Arlo will start to record too. Of course, the two cameras must be on the same base.

Depending on angle may effect as well. So if one camera is straight on they don't pick up well all arlo camera's pick up side to side far better. So position your camera's to reflect that. Also motion settings play with those

Not normal. Multiple cameras should be able to record at the same time. They don't have to be on the same base station to cross trigger. If the cameras look at the same area, a cross triggering rule is a good idea

Michael, you're using 2 cameras to accomplish what I unit can accomplish for you, plus offer Garage door control operations. Consider, Alcidae Garager or Chamberlain's myQ bundle package. You can google search both results.
