Just have to say: IT NEVER HURTS TO CALL AND ASK! I had to get my brakes done right before going out of town for thanksgiving and did not have the $500 in funds at the time so I financed with a program called “SNAP! finance” they had a 100-day same as cash offer, or a 12 month lease where my end total would end up paying over $900 due to interest. March 2nd was that 100-day deadline and I knew I wouldn’t have the funds until 3/27 paycheck but I would hopefully be able to pay it in full, so I called and was just wanting to know how much it would be when I pay on 3/27 and his response was “well I can extend the 100-day deadline to the 27th if you’d like? ” So instead of the $330 I budgeted to pay off the finances loan, I’ll only be paying $248! AND! Just called Xfinity and said I was going to another internet company if I can’t lower my bill and we went from $120 to $88 WITH HIGHER INTERNET SPEEDS! Don’t be afraid to call, y’all! The squeaky wheel gets the oil!

Xfinity/Comcast is quite responsive on Twitter. I never have luck getting my bill lowered into the phone, but asking on social (nicely of course) always helps. I was at the end of my contract, so I reached out and mentioned I lost my job, I need my bill to remain the same amount OR decrease my speed. And it worked! Always worth asking.
