I was told Arco is not the best gas. I would go with 76, shell, or if you've a wholesale (sam or costco). If your car says to put in 91. I would suggest you to stick to it. It makes a difference because of the way your motor is built.

Your car manual should let you know what gas they recommend for your make and model! This recommendation is made to keep your car running efficiently! I have a 2019 Honda Civic and they recommend 87!

If you don’t have Costco, arco. You definitely do not need the nicer gas for a Honda Civic

Also, my husband has done a lot of work with chevron, one of the most expensive gas companies, they SELL their gas to places like arco and some of the “cheaper” gas stations. ITS THE SAME GAS. Some of those sketchy gas stations do add stuff to their gas to make it cheaper, so don’t go to those places but arco is fine. Some of the more expensive places add things to their gas to make it “nicer” but the base gas is the same

I buy Sam's club gas because it's cheapest. If you have a car that recommends premium, don't use 87. That said, a civic will run fine on 87 provided you do all your factory maintenance and don't race. If you're racing or running at high RPMs frequently, you need high test.

The gas station doesn’t really matter (I personally don’t go to the sketchy cheapest of the cheap cause. well that’s sketchy and I’m a female lol) but I go to whichever cheapest of the safe gas stations is. It doesn’t really matter. As for the type, of your car manual says to use a premium gas, use the premium gas! If it says that regular 87 is fine, don’t waste your money on the premiums

Definitely look at your manual, but also how your car runs. My jetta recommends 89 however I always use 91 because I get on average 2 mpg more with 91 and i want my car to last a long time. The higher the octane the cleaner the combustion of your engine. Which means less build up in your cylinders and a car that will last much longer.

You don’t have a luxury car so honestly it doesn’t matter as much. We do arco, Costco, or Texaco if I have Safeway points to redeem.

Arco (AM/PM) is like the worst type of gas for any vehicle. Might as well put water in it. It may be cheaper up front but it’ll cost you more in the long run (new engines & new transmissions are NOT cheap). Best quality gas comes from Shell/Chevron/Costco/Sam’s. And Honda’s from what I know only need the regular Unleaded.

I always go to Sam’s Club or Costco. I haven’t found another fueling station that can beat their prices.

We have two Subaru’s one is a 2009 and one is 2016. We get gas for both at Costco and have no issues. We used to go to another station that had higher prices but have not seen any differences in performance or mileage in the past couple of years. Plus we get cash back with our Costco membership.

I use Shell. I've found that I get the best gas mileage and my car runs smoother.
