Cleaning a Shark upright vacuum. Can you put the filter in the washing machine on a gentle cycle? How do you wash the hose? Its completely connected! Any other Shark vacuum cleaning tips welcome!

Either stock it on the radiator or if it's warm put it outside same as the roller

I put the filter on a rinse cycle in the machine with a little fabric softener, fragrance is nice when you hoover

I wash my filters in the sink and then leave them to soak in fabulosa then put them on the heater to dry. When I hoover up I can smell it x

maybe a different model? Mines comes away from machine as seen in photo, the handle is still attached to the hose but there’s no electrical parts in my handle so I can wash it all.

If I’m honest though, the hose is never really that dirty, so it probably doesn’t matter if you can’t get it off.

I put all mine in the bath the other day, the hose, the filter, the wand and the main plastic compartment part. One of my kids had hovered up milk and it stunk now it’s like new! X
