As long as its rinsed well so that it doesn't dry hard and clumpy, I don't see why not? It's not like the cleaning solution is getting sucked into the vaccum?

I just buy a replacement from amazon ‍♀️

Yep! I take it all apart including filter. Clean them, put them in a zoflora and wash down after and just let it dry, make sure they're fully dry before replacing

I wash mine in plain water under running tap, any detergent will make it tacky eventually. (I've got dogs)

Whatever you wash, make sure you leave it for 48hrs to dry, I learnt the hard way and put back the filter after 24hrs. I had to buy a new body for my shark.

Anything other than water voids the warranty for any part of the shark hoover

@araby2 I have washed all of mine in soapy water and had replacement parts no problem, they never ask if you wash it or not
by (2.4k points)
@karame it's in the booklet and the guy who sold me it told me so I've been too scared to use any
by (130 points)

by (7.6k points)
@pent128 yes, u will see little tabs to take the front off then u will see one to take the roller out
by (7.6k points)
@pent128 the end of the roller (grey bit at top of pic) should say "pull here" or "release here" something like that on it?

by (7.6k points)

My fella told me I couldnt strip my shark down and wash all the parts too . Funnily enough I know the difference between what parts come into contact with any electrical parts or risk any water getting near I stripped every part of my shark would wash it all every part , just ensure you pop it on a radiator and dry before using again

DO NOT use fabric conditioner or Zoflora. Apart from it being dangerous, they actually don't clean as they contain no surfactants.
