Question

When you ladies travel out of the country for a vacation do you go to a travel agent, the resort website or orbitz, Expedia etc.? I’m trying to book our Atlantis, Bahamas trip for the summer. Thanks!

For anything out of the country, I recommend using a travel agent. They generally can get just as good, if not better deals than you can find on a site. And if anything goes wrong, you have a person to call.

I always rent direct in Airbnb or similar places so I have a kitchen and home space, but if you're looking at resorts that's a whole different game! I would assume booking direct is higher priced most of the time

We use Skyscanner to book flights and stay in a home exchange ideally or if not, an AirBNB.

We usually book all of our trips ourselves. (actually its mostly my husband that does it! ) But we have booked through Costco before and travelzoo always has great deals as well (you have to be signed up for their emails to receive the really good deals). I would also recommend looking for flights on google flights because it gives you an idea of when to fly for the best deal and very easy to use. Also Air BNB is great. Good Luck!
