Hi Moms, so we just moved to Des Plaines )school district 62) from Chicago, my daughter who is 3. 5 yrs went to a charter school full time ( we were waived from paying the school fees), can you please recommend full day preschools that won’t break our budget?

@varanasi do you know if they provide the fees online? I checked their website but no mention of the fees

@mucosa they are very welcoming and you can go in any time for a tour. They explain the programs they offer and pricing when you go for a tour

@mucosa no problem. My son went there and we had such an amazing experience there. You can stop in anytime they are open, no appointment needed

Just an FYI in regards to dhs for kiddie junction they will charge you whatever you are responsible for that dhs says you qualify for but when each week they have their own fee also. Many places that take dhs assistance only take what dhs says you’re responsible for monthly.

We send our preschooler to Mary, Seat of Wisdom in Park Ridge and LOVE it. Our daughter is in daycare at A Mother's Touch (also fantastic, highly recommend) but she will also go to MSW for preschool next year because we will save a ton of $$

The public school district does offer full day pre school at our Early Learning Center. Contact them first if they are full or there’s a wait list I had my son at Brentwood Baptist Christian Academy in Des Plaines. Very affordable, decent program and full day option. Our Park District has good pre school program but not sure if full time is an option.

First Congregational Preschool has options you can choose until 3pm and I believe is the only preschool around that has a dedicated gym class and music class. All three of my kiddos have gone there, the teachers are awesome!

Other full day Pre School Programs nearby (tuition based) is St. Andrews Lutheran School in Park Ridge, Mary Seat of Wisdom or St. Paul of the Cross in Park Ridge. You need to check with them for pricing.

I wonder if you can go on a waiting list. Sometimes people move out of the district.
