Question

Has anyone be able to find open delivery or pick up spots at ANY of the grocery stores? I'm trying to order online for all the way into next week and everything is full at both Jewel and Maranios. Before I continue with futile hopes I thought I'd check. We have stuff for this week but good grief I didn't think last week I needed to order 2-3 weeks in advance. It's stuff that's perishable so you can only fit so much in the fridge at once (fruit etc).

You have to select your time at midnight, that's usually when the availability opens up. I set an alarm, quick snag my time on my phone and back to sleep.

Good grief. This is so frustrating. Can they at least load like 2 batches? Half at midnight and half during the day so folks who work different shifts have a chance in hell of doing this.

I can usually get a Walmart slot at around 5/5:30 AM (it’s not much better than midnight, but depending on your sleep schedule - it might be a little better).

We did instacart yesterday morning and it was delivered last night feom Mariano’s?

It is totally the luck of the draw. Everyone I know has been able to get one at some point. Some people got one within minutes and others took weeks. It really depends on whether or not slots are released when you log in.

We did a Mariano’s pick up yesterday. They seem to average about 5 day’s after order, but avoid an evening pick up because half your stuff will be OOS. Amazon is hit or miss, I keep trying like every hour.

It’s been full at Walmart and Woodmans too. I’ve had to go in person to Jewel and Aldi because I can’t even schedule anything.

I don’t know when the slots open for Mariano’s but I was able to book 7 days out (for the 10th). Maybe try after midnight or early in the morning?
