You mama’s never fail me. Any good recommendation for a lovely gift to send to a dear friend for her birthday/grad school graduation? Price friendly $40-80. Not flowers or edible arrangements. It’s for a woman in her thirties. Thank you so much for any suggestions

Etsy has lots of cute gifts for graduates that you can have shipped directly to her and mark as a gift so they can't see the price!

Does she have any hobbies?
by (3k points)
@natheless she rescues dogs and is very into fitness in her free time. Men are her hobbies too .

@plow693  I'd say a bottle of whatever her alcohol of choice is, a $25 gift card to a local bar/grill type place that's a little nicer than she would take herself, and then maybe something dog oriented from Etsy. When I finished grad school, I remember just missing being able to go OUT for a drink and actually sit to enjoy it, not worried about studying. It's nice to have a life again, and nice to not worry about the cost of treating yourself

@tensimeter75 do you know if you can mail alcohol? She lives in Texas. I think a nice bottle of wine would be a great idea

@plow693 hmm that might be costly but weight, but a delivery service would do it for cheaper (like I know we had binnys deliver us some wine).

@tensimeter75 I’m going to check on that. Thank you!

I'm a fan of Etsy as well! Lots of cute stuff you can't find anywhere else. All else fails, I've got a Heavenly Massage giftcard I received as a gift and will probably never use. Its $100 I'll give you for $75.

@jawbreaker31 thank you dear! One of her best friends owns The Massage Suite so I know she’s good on massages when she’s in town. But thank you kindly!

My cousin sent us some adagio tea and a canister. It was really great! But I guess it depends on what she likes.

I'm a sucker for personalization - walgreens has a great selection under $50 or something from personalizationmall. com.

@cavetto676 oh yes I meant mail lol. I wasn’t sure. For some reason I thought they asked if there’s any liquids in the package and might not allow them.
