Why is downtown Des plaines road closed(NW hwy/miner)?

We didn't receive any notices, just saw the sign placed there last week. I think they should finish that cluster f*** on river before closing a street, but. they didn't ask

They sent out a notice. NW hwy closed from western to broadway until July to replace sewer

I was hoping they would put sidewalk there somewhere as well. :(

@sheff that’s interesting, every sign says it will be closed until 2021 when the project is complete but not this notice.

@linkboy I know. the sign was just changed to July but it originally said 2021
