Hello everyone, Quick question: I have a good cpa and decided to increase budget about 20% every few days. I have noticed the cpa has gone really high compared to how I started. Does anyone know why this is ? How can I increase my budget but keep cpa low ? Thanks for your time and help

You need to increase your conversion rate & control your ad frequency. You may want to test different messaging and find out what works the best for your products/services

The answer is very easy: CPA grows because you enter additional auctions. So that you become a competitor to a number of additional ad buyers. That's why it grows.

An ad expert Jeremy Haynes once mentioned 15% is better of, lowering the chance of getting into learning mode. Just a sidenote

Were any of your ad-sets in “Learning Limited”, or producing less than 50 conversion events (for that ad-set) in the previous 7 days? Was your daily spend at the Ad-set level, or CBO?

Based on my experience, increase the budget gradually. Like 5%, 10% etc. sudden increase of 20% May prompt ad into new learning phase

not exactly a learning phase, but forelearning. It will take less time then learning itself if there was enough data collected.

yeahh man, that’s what I meant. Just used to use the term “learning phase” albeit shorter duration the initial period . But in truth, never come across the term forelearning that much

In any case, there will be a new phase of training. The budget can be sharply increased only in one case, if the market has a demand for your product. Otherwise, either do not touch the budget at all, or gradually increase by 10-20%.

You can't add budget on running Adset firstly make a copy of adset then go with max budget. This will help you more.

Doing some lead gen and the last 30 days seeing a big increase in cost (comparing to the 30 days prior, which in turn was higher than the 30 days before that(but not shown)), with the campaigns/adsets basically running the same, albeit with a slight budget increase.

For the marketers that duplicate a good performing ad set into a different "high-scale" campaign, are you worried about losing the pixel learning AI accumulated in the low-scale ad set campaign, as well as different ad delivery behavior due to the higher budget?
