New here.  I've been running an add in a saturated market for online coffee.New here. I've been running an add in a saturated market for online coffee. The creative was a little nicer than average, but we are paying . 36 per click to our website. It's a low budget of $10 day to get the swing of things. Is . 36 normal? It seems high to me, and if it is high, I'm not sure how to bring it down. Thoughts?

What type of campaign are you running? Clicks, conversion, engagement? New account? First time advertising? Things get cheaper with better offers, creative and budget. Higher the budget the more likely you are to outbid those who are bidding for clicks from the same people.

@eurhythmy Clicks. So if I ramp up the budget it might do better? Somewhat new account, winging it until I hot here and reading some from the experts. realized I still have some learning to do.

@palette it's a bidding system. So a bigger budget wins. Especially if your audience is huge. Facebook needs more data (clicks) too. More clicks the better it will learn and optimise.
