Hi guy's recently start a new CBO for a daily budget of $35 and 7 ad sets + 7 interests in each ad set $5 each ad set. Few questions. 1. How long should I keep them going for? 2. How to tell which one is performing better then the other? 3. Can I swap in other ad sets if one ad set isn't working well? Thanks in advance.

Can't give you concrete answers unless you give more details mate. 1. What are you trying to achieve? Prospecting? Creative/copy/audience testing? 2. Your budget is a little low for CBO. Thankspically you would want to set a minimum spend of 1/2 your adset Budget if you are doing CBO. This way Facebook is forced to spend some money to give you some data - generally used in audience/Creative/copy testing. 3. If you swap in other adsets into your CBO, the other adsets will NOT reenter the learning phase - this is clearly listed in Facebook's business help Center or blueprint. You should take a look there

@efrem340 I am trying to test interests. I had a recent fb ad that wasn't CBO and was normal abo but it has 12 interests narrowed to 7 but I wanted to try cbo to test different ad sets. So I should just reset and do abo for the 7 ad sets instead on 1 campaign?

@wail18056 If you are willing to raise your testing budget to at least $20 per adset, then CBO is the way to go. Otherwise, go "old school" and test using ABO. I'm sure there will be people that argue that $5/adset is enough for CBO, but I really don't recommend it. For testing purposes, test for at least 3 days or until your target impressions (or whatever metrics you want to test) are met.

@efrem340 ok so old school for 7 ad sets on abo for $5 per ad set on 1 campaign

@wail18056 If you are really restricted by budget then yeah $5. If not, even with ABO I would recommend going above $10/adset. Do note that testing using ABO isn't nearly as cost-effective as using CBO, but you tend to get away with using lower budgets IF you know what metrics you are looking for to determine success/failure of the test.

@efrem340 well I am targeting jewellery. So even if I get ATC or purchase is better compared to others even lower cpm on ctr.

I agree with @efrem340. First of all, what is your goal? If you try to achieve sales, $5 per ad set seems a bit low. If you want to test things it's better to start with ABO campaign;)
