Question for those of you who have run App ads (legitimately run and tested - I love opinions but I need HARD data here! ) If our goal is to get users to make purchases on an App (think retail app), are we better off running App Install ads first to get them on the app and then retarget with a Conversion campaign, or can/should we start with a Conversions campaign with App destination right away and they install the app as part of the process? Curious if anyone has seen results one way or another - thanks!

Where are you running ads to?

@stearic13 ? We want to drive purchases on the app. I’m trying to determine if it’s better to run App Install objective first, or if we can go to Conversion/catalog sales and straight away

Sorry if I wasn’t clear, I meant where are you running ads to geometrically. If you’re in the US app installs will be expensive so I’d suggest going for conversions.

@stearic13 “geometrically” yes we’re running them to the US
