I've moved into a house with a very exposed garden. I am wanting a large hedge running along the back. Can anyone please tell me which hedging is really fast-growing and thick and the cheapest place to buy from? I'm wanting it around 6ft high

Look on line for a specialist company that sells bare rooted hedging plants, best time to plant will be autumn, but you'll be able to cheaper as you'll be bulk buying. Think about a double row as well depending on which plants you choose.

Laurel can attract wasps though. They loved ours so much I ended up ripping it out. I would go for privet
