Yes! It was awful! I first tried upping my magnesium and veggies but that didn't work. I have resorted to taking Senna every other day and a cup of coffee in the mornings, this helps a ton! Don't be assamed, constipation is a huge issue during phase 1, most suffer from it!

First off your body will produce less waste on this because you aren’t eating as much junk. So you’ll go less and a smaller amount by nature. However, since this diet can be dehydrating and doesn’t produce all the bulk to push things along Calm magnesium can really help with that! Smooth move tea works for some but it’s a stimulant laxative that shouldn’t be used on a regular basis!

I had that problem so bad when I was on ideal protein. Comes to find out my body doesn't deal with the soy very well. took months of being off before I could #2 right. It sucked because I liked the program ‼️

Make sure you’re taking potassium and magnesium. And also getting in the olive oil. And that’s also why it’s important to eat the 4 cups of vegetables. Try to get in a lot of your liquids with your food. Your body takes in the water better

When all else fails take miralax. it safe and works with the body and you can take everyday for as long as you need until you figure out your diet and what your having issues

Colace. or rather, stool softener pills. Helps draw more water into your bowels. Won't make you have to go, will make it easier for you to go. Drinking more water with it will help too.
