Newbie here.  Has anyone made any of the packets ahead of time?Newbie here. Has anyone made any of the packets ahead of time? For example the soups. Can you make it ahead for lunch and put it in a themos? My work involves a lot of travel, my car is my office so I don’t have access to a kitchen for my lunch break

I have a definite “meal” four out of seven nights. This week it’s chicken chili. I saute 4-5 chicken thighs (boneless skinless) with celery yellow or red peppers and even zucchini if I have it (in grape seed oil) I add frozen riced cauliflower and then take 4 packs of the vegetable chili mix them with cold water (16-20 0z) and pour that over the mixture and let it simmer a while. If you like your chili spicier add chili powder. This divides up into four or five meals for me. Add a small salad and I am good

I would think that would work. I make my juices the night before and it’s nice and cold in the morning

They do not have the same taste if you mix them up that far in advance. One person I know did that and she said they were horrible and she didn’t feel well after eating.

I’ve done the chicken soup and puddings ahead of time and they were both fine to me!

Hmmm. I made the chilli once in the morning and reheated for lunch. It was fine.

If you have the cookbook, I make muffins and pizza crust ahead. And the pizza sauce.

I make a big batch of ip chili in a pot for the week. , 5 pkg of ip chili , add mushrooms, zucchini and peppers. I put equal amounts into 5 containers, heat in microwave in the morning and put in thermos for my husband. He’s never complained. I also add additional “chili” spices too.

I’ve used the microwavable steamed broccoli and added it to the broccoli soup around 7 am put in a thermos and it was good to eat around 12:30pm for lunch. Good luck in your journey.

Breakfast- chocolate, vanilla crisps, lunch - chips, snack - any of the bars. For veggies you can have salads with zero calories dressing or vegetable stir fry. You dont have to prepare any food with the packets. I do this always

You can make a weeks worth of salads in mason jars. Look up on utube. Measure veggies, put dressing in the jar first, then 2 cups of veggies, lettuce last, or bring lettuce in plastic bag. Easy to bring anywhere.

I make the Italian crackers out of 5 crispy cereal packets (Janevas Cookbook), measure and make cauliflower hummus, and cut weighed veggies. It travels great in the car!
