Eating unhealthy will make it go up worse. Talking to a non keto doctor is not the correct approach, please make sure you talk to a keto supportive doctor. Read The Cholesterol Clarity and watch videos from Dr. Ken Berry and Dr. Jason Fung. It isn't uncommon for cholesterol to go up a little but by 6 months (not a year) or so it will go down.
