Looks like some day care are open now for essential workers. I know that a lot of high schoolers and college students are out of jobs currently and/or for the summer. Someone recommended finding someone in the area would would be willing to provide childcare a few days a week for school aged children. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone in the area know of hs/college students that need work?

I know several moms who nanny/in home daycare that have lost work that needed this money to put food on their table. I have a college age daughter who also babysits, but would much rather see my friends, who are out of work and trying to support their families, have an opportunity for these jobs as well!

@josefina ok, but can they legally be taking children into their care at this time?

@shoreless96622 a nanny goes to your house so no different than a babysitter. My friend who does in home only watches one family, but that is a good question. Not  sure about that.
