My husband just drove by the CVS testing station in Bolingbrook. I can’t seem to find the post about this after multiple searches. Do you still require a doctor note?

No. Over 65 years old with or without symptoms.

@swale at this time it’s only with symptoms

I haven’t seen anything for that specific location, but all drive-thru sites opened so far are for 65+, healthcare workers, & first responders. The only exception I’m aware of is Edward Hospital parking lot, but a doctor’s note is required and unlikely to get it unless you’re very ill.

You still have to have a physician’s order and they will still screen you. Not everyone with an order gets the test.

@tremann That is not accurate for that location.

@swale I didn’t say a location.

@tremann She asked about Bolingbrook.

@swale well now you confused me. You said it’s for seniors with or without symptoms. Then you so kindly posted this which says they have to have symptoms.

What is your position there?

@tremann I’m sorry you’re confused. See the other comments or pm me if you need more information.

@tremann why a shortage of tests. our govt is not protecting us

@sundae50769 IL seems to have less than other states too. It’s horrible. No PPE and lack of testing kits. That’s why there is criteria.

@benkley I drive by daily, saw no more than 1-2 cars each day last week.

@oliver that’s good, I do realize everyone needs to get out and about, but as of this time, it would be prudent to wear a mask anytime you were outside

@benkley I haven't been in buildings other than my home or office in weeks.

News last night updated it to include 65 and over without doctors approval. Do not need to be health care first responder etc, just 65 with an id
