We have the triple play with Comcast/xfinity costing us $176. 00 per month. Is that similar to what you pay, looking for more affordable options out there. Any thoughts?

Are you on a contract with them? I just contacted them last month and our contract was up at the end of this month and we lowered ours to $129 including taxes. Plus we got faster internet now.

I went to att for Wi-Fi and cable. 140. And got 300 in Visa cards. I also have them for cell service. My family hates the slower internet( there might be a faster one for a price) and out tv often hesitated during a program. But had to find somewhere to cut my expenses so for now this works. Often time if you tell Comcast you want to leave they will work out a discounted deal. Once I left I even had Comcast come to my door to try to get Me back.

I was looking at the exact same thing yesterday. Check out sling tv, if you keep your internet you can buy a roku and stream sling to your tv (you can omit buying a roku if you have a smart tv) sling packages range from $25-$45/month

Had comcast too went to att because we have cell with but can't wait to go back to Xfinity for cable and wifi . Att wifi is super slow even with there suppose to be fast and there wifi reception in house is worse have to get boosters for basement and 2nd floor. Never an issue with Xfinity on range. also att cable remote does not work through a wall for example if you put all your equipment in a closet and have door closed att remote won't work and Xfinity did

We have triple play and pay more. We do have the premium channels though. It cost even more before. We told them after the trial period that we were going to cut down to the basic package and they lowered our price. Also switched from AT&T to Xfinity for our mobile phone. Pay by the gig and saved about $80 a month.

not to bad, sometimes the signal blacks out due to the app. I had to make improvements to the WiFi signal for the apps to stream. There is no better signal then a hard wired signal through the Ethernet port.

I have triple play as well with premium channels; just called Xfinity and had my bill cut by 1/3 by trimming down the cable package-won’t really miss the channels I won’t get. Didn’t watch them anyway

My Xfinity bill went up to 235. 00 and I don’t even have HBO or Showtime. I called and said I need to lower my bill or I’ll have to go elsewhere. They said unless you drop to a different package with less channels there’s nothing they could do. There’s no promotions at this time. Screw Xfinity. I’m done. A loyal customer getting screwed again.

Exactly. I had AT&T until Comcast came and knocked on my door. Then we switched and now they got out of whack with their prices, so it’s time to switch back to AT&T.

For those of you wondering why your bill is higher now, Comcast and a few other ISP increased their prices in December. Just about every TV and Internet plan (excluding the Gigabit Pro plan) saw a $1, $5, or $10 increase. Not really sure what the reason 8a for the increase but I heard it has something to do with higher costing programing.

YIKES! I just pay for AT&T Internet ($30/mo) and Netflix ($8. 99), Hulu ($1. 99) -- Those streaming services and antenna TV have all I need at a much cheaper price!

Right now Comcast has the market cornered because of their programming aimed at sports fans. If I could find an internet hub that carried all of the ESPN Channels, Red Zone and Center Ice, etc. I would move in a second.

R. Lombardi Tried SlingTV? They carry all the sports channels. Easy to sign per month. I use it A couple times a year to catch playoffs.
