So I usually do most of my grocery shopping at Aldi but my family told me they are sick of their food and want me to shop elsewhere this week. Who has better prices Walmart or meijer ? Thanks

Meijer. I live on a budget and I can't stay on budget at Walmart. Meijer always has great deals.

I like both price wise, but with Meijer hard finding delivery or pick up times and they charge fee and then add tip for Shipt shopper. Meijer customer service has not responded to issue it's been over a week I was on hold for 2 hours. Walmart is better up grocery pickup and there is no charge if you buy $35 or more. Walmart resolved an issue within the hour Go with WALMART now before the pandemic my answer might have been different

@flesher70 that’s why I chose to go there, because of the app. Never again. I had a staff member behind me at self checkout very rudely say “get closer! You’re not close enough to star”. - I was giving the lady near me her 6’ of space. It just doesn’t seem like they are handling it well.

@nicotinism glad I'm not alone. I thought I'd save money by sitting at home and I swear our grocery bill has doubled. I mean. we practically stand in front of the fridge all day, but that's not the point.

Meijer If buy sale items and promo items- Walmart is always just . 01 less typically if not using sale items etc.

Meijer . their sales are great. In my opinion the deli has much better quality selection of meats and cheeses then Walmart.

I honestly find the best grocery prices to ge Target. It is a farther drive being yorkville but I get the same amount of food as Walmart for almost $100 less everytime. I think it's because their store brand items are way better than Walmart's and even the name brand sometimes.

I’ve been avoiding the Walmart craziness ever since this started. I would do pickup with them, but if going into the actual store, I’d definitely choose Meijer. Last week I went and they were sanitizing carts. Not so busy so easy to keep distance. Pretty well stocked on items as well.

Normally I’d say Meijer but not during this craziness. I just left there and won’t be going back until this is over.

@nevsa2 Reitsma oh ok! Everytime I have gone very early late in day so I have not experienced this. I am boycotting Walmart currently cause I witnessed 3 fights in line outside that was instigated by employees. They were clustered together and being very rude.

I always shop at Meijer (mPerks is great) and have had no issues shopping there since this whole thing started. Has not been crowded when I went, got everything I needed and I got checked out quickly.
