I want to know who organize the cars that ride around with birthday signs and beep the horn for someone who is celebrating a birthday? I'm interested in having it done for my niece who will be 16 and unable to have a proper 16 birthday, I think this will make her so happy.

I'm actually doing a surprise Drive by Baby shower sorta thing. My daughter in laws was cancelled last month with all this going on. And she was heart broken. So I asked her My whole family , hers and ppl who were invited to the shower. I hope its a good turn out. Good luck with yours.

Most people just ask family and friends to line up at a certain time and do it.

It isn’t a company. it is friends and family of the birthday kid. Just reach out to her friends

But remember “shelter in place” is still in effect.

@herc9 just my opinion but. I feel like this option has a higher chance of spreading the virus than a birthday parade, no? Am I missing something with these parades being a no no?

@herc9, “studies” say the virus dies on paper in 24 hours. So, we leave all our mail in the garage for a day.

@margheritamargi respectfully yes. Parades are non essential. Shelter in place means no non-essential travel. And some cities like Montgomery IL have asked for that to be honored.

@rustice479 couldn’t the mail sit in garage for a day before her bday? Just ask family and friends to send it out early.

@margheritamargi and it’s really more about keeping all people off the roads and out of a chance that there’s an accident and they have to respond.

@herc9, based on what I’ve read, absolutely!

@herc9 that makes more sense. I honestly was not grasping the concept of why parades shouldn’t happen since it something so sweet to brighten up these kids days. Thanks for your thoughts ☺️

Usually it’s friends and family of the birthday person.
