EDIT: Thank you all for showing such love and words of encouragement. This is the best community ever!  I just want to come in here and celebrate a small win. For the first time, in a long time, we were able to pay rent on time! ON TIME!?!?!? It was like a freaking miracle, just paying $1, 195 without any late fees. Every month it was always $2, 245 a month due to late fees, but not today. I’m very proud of family and for my boyfriend for working hard. I hope I don’t jinx it, but with the help of the Budget Mom and this amazing community, I know we can make it. I just want to give my family props for really giving so much effort into working on themselves. Since my diagnosis, we have sat down again and just really talked. We are a happy family, we all had that in us ever since, it’s just living with debt and going through with what we’ve been through (back in 2016, my step dad of 14yrs, took all our money and savings, left state, forcing us to be evicted and homeless), it brought out the worst in us. I’m just so happy to see us being happy again, especially since my boyfriend never really get to see some of that since we moved in with my mom. I wanted for him to know that family is very important for me and I wanted to show him that my family is actually pretty great, things just got heavy from what we’ve been through and it got carried along with us, adding more weight on top of us all. But right now, we’re just really happy for this small victory and that things are changing for the better and we realized that, we are all that we have and that we shouldn’t let arguments about money or bills ruined that. ❤️❤️❤️
