Currently I’m a small business employee who is furloughed because we are deemed non essential so I’m not making a lot of money. So the way I’ve found to support other small businesses is writing reviews on yelp, google, and Facebook. I’m also sharing businesses and products I love on my social media

Have been ordering food from several places throughout the week. They are pretty much the only things open as far as local businesses go. I never order take out because of the cost, but right now it's helping others more than it's "hurting" my budget.

I bought a couple bagels yesterday. It was the first shop that I went to in weeks that was not a grocery store.

I call restaurants directly to order delivery from their staff. Buying masks from artisans I love. But all my gardening supplies at a family owned nursery. My local bakery delivers bread, butter, cookies, and a Community Supported Agriculture box every week. I go to Farmer’s Market every couple weeks to fill in the gaps like eggs, meat, etc.

I just ordered Chinese food today  from a local business. But to be honest I rarely order out anymore saving more money by staying in and having nothing but time so I cook more.

We've been ordering food from local places as much as possible. And trying to pick it up or use the restraunts delivery as much as possible instead of things like door dash. They take ~20% from the restaurant which makes the order almost a push for most businesses which are already struggling

Just a heads up with doordash: they do take a rather large percentage of the proceeds. If you are able to order directly from the restaurant, it is more beneficial to them.

All of those ordering apps are absolutely brutal for restaurants. Call them up and order yourself, or order directly from the website.
