About $100 more on groceries, but $1000 less on dining out. Not mad at a $900 savings monthly!

More on groceries. We've been eating well at home. More than offset by reduced gas and restaurants.

More. Kids used to eat two meals at school each day. We used to eat lunch out a lot. Also eating our less in general for everyone. So lots more on groceries.

A little more on groceries but a lot less on everything else. Definitely in the green. But the freezer is stocked up so only small runs when needed now.

More. I spent $1, 500 in April and that’s just for my husband and I. Not even including take-out. It’s out of hand, so I’m not going out grocery shopping for 2 weeks. Delivery isn’t available in my area either.

Not much has changed. We only eat out once or twice a month so this has impacted our food budget very little.

Actually less, since we feel we can help local restaurants using door dash

Less- when my husband is going to work he likes to take pre-packaged stuff. The dollar goes a lot further with sandwiches, salads, and other lunch stuff from home. As far as eating out- we've also spent a lot less than normal. We get to the local places once or twice a week to help out but we're not buying an $8 beer and $7 pretzel before dinner

More. I felt a need to have extra on hand in case one of us was sick and we couldn't go in or get delivery. My son is sick now (Covid symptoms with negative test. doctor says he has covid regardless). Fortunately curbside and delivery has opened up. I've continued to get extra. Also with meat packers going down i wish i had a freezer for more meats.

250-300 every 2 weeks for 2 people. Not going out to eat for lunch everyday and no sporting events. We are saving an additional $900 last month.

A lot less. Usually cook healthy but with the lockdown we’ve been ordering take out every day to help out local restaurants during the pandemic.

On groceries I am spending more as I am always home when not seeing patients. But I am almost spending nothing in all other categories. When looking at graphs from January to present, my spending has gone down consistently every month. I also order take out more on weekends to help local restaurants.

I have spent maybe 30$ in food for the last two months. My work is providing free breakfast and lunch. Half the time after lunch there is left overs from breakfast, which i take home for dinner :D

Essential worker. and more. More because I don't want to go in stores and I am working 60 hours every week. so I am not home to get an order delivered every week. so I got more stuff to keep on hand. also bought more in case I got sick. Plus I'm tired so I am still eating out. as no time to cook. I usually just don't have this much food around. so maybe it will equal out. but it seems like more.

Wayyyyyyy more. Three people eating all meals and snacks at home. Thankspically my son eats lunch and all of his snacks at daycare, and I typically have access to food at work too.

WAY more. Trying to not eat take out or delivery. On the plus side, working from home has saved me more than double that extra amount in gas savings. Oh and food out-to-eat budget savings too. I’m (pretty) sure I’m ahead?

The same. Just buying more at a time at less frequent intervals to justify getting it delivered
