Ok they changed the prompts for unemployment. What are the tricks to get through? UPDATE : I have gone on line it doesn't tell me anything I need to talk to someone

I did it online yesterday, way easier. You can apply and certify

Certified Monday for my husband and no money today :( have to find out why. Online doesn't tell me anything. Hoping it may be there tomorrow but just want to know the tricks of getting through

@firkin8617 normally it’ll tell you the certification has gone through when you do it online it’s a confirmation that didn’t come up at all?

@femoral it did but it also did with mine when I had that interview with the juditiar. I am not sure if he has the same thing they call and I want to make sure what date and time they are going to do this if they are going to do it so we don't miss it.

@femoral my daughter had the same issue. It said she didn’t qualify for the period (we had to wait at least a week for the letter to come in). She called (and called), finally got through, the lady asked her if she was available to work, she said yes, and she was certified. Got her money 2 days later. The unemployment lady said it could have been a computer glitch.

So I’m self employed and I filed 10 days ago and still haven’t heard back if it was approved.? This is so confusing

@firkin8617 go to payment history and see if there is a pending transaction. If not then you will have to call like you said. I certified Monday and yesterday I was able to see an upcoming payment date and received payment today.

Suppose to certify today ides per letter and cannot certify when I go online?

I've given up calling. I can never reach anyone. I saw someone post an email address of someone who can supposedly help. I'm going to go that route and see if it works.

@vinson thank you I will keep for my records. I did eventually get through. Took calling from 840 am to 11 pretty much non stop finally got to anoint where they put me on hold.

On line is faster and you can see if a payment is pending and how much.

I called 160 times today before getting through lol i just dialed the 800 number once the automated started i just dialed 12211, once i heard “we are experiencing high call volumes” i hung up and redid the same thing until i finally got through.
