We loved South Dakota. We stayed at a cabin at the Rafter J Bar Ranch Resort . it was in the middle of everything. There was a lot to do . hiking, dining, shopping, touristy stuff, horseback riding, etc.

Portland has a lot of outdoor climbing experiences and it’s beautiful! If you enjoy nature you will love Oregon.

Both are great but Oregon Is my favorite because you are 1 hour away from the mountains or the ocean
