Extenders aren't good choices. Go with a Mesh Network

Extenders cut the bandwidth in half. That's the biggest problem using them. Mesh networks do NOT.

Yes, my service improved when I took off my chime. While not as good as yours, my RSSI went down too.

We’re you trying to decrease your RSSI by using a Ring Chime Pro when it was already only 36? Do you know how incredibly good signal strength that is. Or were you using it for the Chime functionality? You don’t have to use the extender feature to use the chime itself.

@phenolic9315 Let me reword it, did you add the Chime Pro for only the Chime but also used it for the extender feature?

@phenolic9315 just a heads up though. RSSI values are a negative number. So if you make changes to your network and it goes from -75 to -36, your RSSI value echnically went up, and your signal strength got better/clearer. I just wanted to clarify that, as should you ever need assistance in the future, it'll be a lot clearer when talking to someone. But yea, a -36 RSSI value is basically as perfect as you can get without getting too strong. That's an impressive number haha.
