Oooh boy.  what is going on with Ring phone support?Oooh boy. what is going on with Ring phone support? I Explained the issue for 10mins, was put on hold for 5 just to get an answer that had nothing to do with the issue. I truly don't think the rep understood the issue at hand. I have one spotlight mount that shows me the 3rd light option to control external lights and 2 other SLC mounts that don't. Called support to find out why the option is not available on the other 2 cams and I got a completely irrelevant answer. explained it all again, waited for another 5mins and finally got another answer that was irrelevant. 30minutes wasted.

Do you have the SLC mount plugged into a FL wired? I only have the one and I know it lets me control it that way, but before I had it directly connected to the FL wired it did not have that option.

@lemur if you hook to a FL wired then you get the option as you set it up. Once I get my new outdoor lanai set up, I will be doing another SLC mount, but it probably won't be until the summer.

They outsourced it to the Philipines. Terrible. 1st ? is r u in the US? If no they have to transfer you to US if u ask.

Are they all spotlight cam mounts? The wired version doesn't support the external lights option.

@lemur I thought they should all have it then. Let me know how you make out. I've been thinking about getting one to connect with one or my Ring smart floodlights.
