Has anyone else added the First Alert Smoke and CO2 Alarm? I have added two to the Ring App and the App is showing me 2 First Alert Smoke Alarms and 2 First Alert CO2 Alarms. Can I delete the CO2 without issue?

So if you deleted the CO2 alarm, you wouldn’t get a CO2 notification if it happened

My two did the same thing i believe its like that because the detector has 2 things its looking for. Also for when the alarm goes off the ring monitor will know which alarm is causing it to go off

I have the First Alert Detector too. It shows as 2 separate devices( a CO, and a Smoke). This is normal. Just leave it. If you add a second First Alert Detector, I believe it would show 4 devices (2 CO, and 2 Smoke)

They seperate the two because each alarm triggers a different response by Ring. A Smoke Alarm signal triggers a call from the call center first for your approval before any first responders are dispatched. A CO alarm triggers an automatic dispatch because of the nature of a Carbon Monoxide emergency. Its entirely possible that you become incapacitated by the CO before the alarm alerts you to the presence of the deadly gas. That's why they are seperate, Ring responds differently.
