Question

Has anyone successfully used the floodlight smart lighting with a spotlight camera? I had read you can replace the motion sensor on the smart lighting, plug in your spotlight, and basically make a floodlight camera.

I found a post from a few months back where it worked but mine doesn’t. It does power the spotlight but doesn’t activate the floodlights. Ring support says they don’t work together.

So your spotlight controls the floodlights without connecting to the bridge? My floodlights only work when the motion sensor that comes with them is connected. When I plug the spotlight camera in instead of the motion sensor, the spotlight camera works as usual but the floodlights don’t.

@clarenceclarenceux3 have you tried linking both devices? To have the lights turn on when the camera detects motion? You’ll need the bridge for that
