I have the latest version of Ring. App (5. 26. 0) but I cant see any option under Motion Settings on any of my devices which lists a Motion Verification switch.

My understanding is that it detects motion, records the clip then puts the clip through some software that verifies there was actually motion in the clip and only then sends you an alert. So fewer false alerts from wind, sun, etc. but a delay in receiving the alerts.
