No they really dont. They just bog down your internet. A Mesh system is far superior. People that dont know about internet or computers get suckered into extenders cause they dont know better.

I have both Mesh and the Chime Pro, but neither reach a camera outside of my garage door. I placed the chime pro within 10 feet of the camera and still has the same RSSI as without, so for one, I agree that the Chime Pros are pretty useless, but at the same time, Mesh doesn’t reach as well as I originally thought either (Orbi-2 Satellites)

@acuate I have a google mesh WiFi system. Got the chime pro to work.

It’s extends the signal from the router. It would be better to get a good mesh system. I have had no problems since I bought eero

I have mine on a drawer. It works as well there as it did when it was plugged in. It's crap!

It should be placed halfway between the router and the Ring device. Can you tell us what the RSSI of the device both without and with the Ring Chime.
