I’m looking to add the Chamberlin MyQ garage door opener to my system. I already have Schlage encodes on the front and back doors of my house and Alexa doesn’t have access to them. My question is, would it be possible to add a phrase or a trigger to cause the garage door open, without being able to say “Alexa, open the garage door”? I. e. “Alexa, my safe word is pineapple. ” = garage door opens “Alexa, open/unlock/etc the door” = nothing happens? Think of it as a security passphrase kind of thing.
