Wink is moving to a subscription model in just one week. I have a Schlage Camelot lock that I use with wink. any alternatives so I can boycott Wink? I assume I do need a Zlink hub. are there locks that don't require a zlink hub? Is the future of IoT without zlink hubs? I have a garage door opener, google speaker and Ring camera that I control with my phone and they don't require zlink hub.

I have ST at my lake house and love it for being remote. But for me at home, doing Hubitat. Learning curve with Hubitat, but definitely like the offline functionality. Hubitat does Zwave and zigbee.

ST or Hubitat if you are a more advanced user and want all local operation.

Schlage has its own app to control their locks if you needs something for the interim.

@cyprinoid the app appears to suport the Encode and Sense models; I have the Camelot :-(

@cyprinoid those only work for WiFi models, not zwave models.

@silvas62226 Camelot is the style. The “connect” is the one you have.

You can do so much more with a SmartThings hub.
The Smart Home Group is where you can always find questions, answers, advice, reviews & recommendations from other community members about smart home automation with zwave, bluetooth, and zigbee IOT devices.
