Question

I'm considering a Harmony hub. Is it able to be used on multiple TV's through out the house? There are 4 smart TVs all over the house and I would love to get them all under Alexa/SmartThings integration. 2 LGs, a Samsung and a TCL.

You're going to want a hub for each TV.

That's for the harmony, but there is a similar script for broadlink - python_broadlink I think.

Not unless you buy one for every room. It still uses IR, which is line of sight.

1 Hub / TV, but the Harmony app can control multiple hubs around your house

Gennerally gonna be whatever it can send a signal to ot can control. So most likely one hub for one room.

It's just like using a remote. If you are in living room that remote won't control a TV in bed room from living room.

I use one hub (harmony elite) to control 2 TVs in different rooms. I placed one of the IR extenders in the 2nd room. The only issue I've found so far is the favourite icons the remote displays only show up for the first watch TV activity. Thus, the 2nd TV has to be controlled using channel numbers. Not a problem if you have a decent memory or them visible somewhere. I can also setup different activities for either TV's. Btw, just use a regular audio extension cable if the IR extender cable is too short.
