Looking for some IDE help. I am getting this on some of my devices when looking at their routing. "This Device (33B1) ↔ Unknown Device (5349) ↔ South Main St Hub" coincidentally these lights are showing as online in the app, but will not take commands from the app. i have done 3 system reboots (waited 15 minutes to rebuild the mesh) and re-paired all the lights. still the same issue. all of these lights are routers so they should extend the network. any suggestions?

What you are seeing is the Zigbee routing for the device. It connects to the unknown Zigbee device. This is exactly how Zigbee networks are supposed to work. The unknown device is an AC powered Zigbee device.

@lixivium3 normally this links to the device it's associated to. Likewise there is no device in my IDE with the code (19AA). It's as if the light is routing through a device that is not there in the system

This is what I see from one of the lights in the same fixture that is functioning properly.

@literalism Are you able to identify the unknown device in the IDE?

@lixivium3 no there is no record of it. Nothing matches the zigbee Id of 19AA. I followed a forum discussion post. It's a ghost device that was deleted from ST but it's still associates in the cloud. It recommended I create a new device in the IDE and use the same network identifier. It worked and was able to link to the new dummy device. Removed the device but the light in question is still trying to route it's network though it.

@lixivium3 I removed 8 zigbee lights today. They were Sengled. They are a non sleepy end device. So they weren't capible of allowing other devices to piggyback back to the hub. So I'm confused as to how this manged to even hapoen. I removed 8 bulbs and added 8 bulbs.

@literalism Sengled bulbs do not repeat. Try rebuilding your Zigbee network by powering off the hub for 30 minutes including removing batteries if you have them. Power up abc the Zigbee network will rebuild

@lixivium3 that's why I replaced the Sengled bulbs

@literalism Rebuild your Zigbee network and check the routing again. Bulbs are not the best routers

@lixivium3 I powered it off. Well see what happens. I've done this now 4 times today. I know outlets are much better repeaters. I wasn't having capacity issues before I replaced the Sengled bulbs. I upgraded for color and the possibility of them down the road preventing network congestion.

Finished the rebuild. That just made it worse. Half of my lights aren't working now including ones that were working fine before

The light with the "unknown device" is the only light not responding. its in a light fixture with other bulbs that are connected fine. this light in question is stuck on and wont turn off, change color, or dim.

@literalism try moving the problem bulb to be closer to the ST hub. If it works ok there, it is unlikely to be a fault. Have you checked what WiFi networks are present at the problem bulbs location? Maybe a neighbours network? It could be channel overlap with your ST ZigBee mesh that is the issue.

Light is about 10 feet away from the hub in the next room over. The Sengled bulbs had no issue staying connected. I replaced 5 Sengled bulbs with 5 slyvania smart+ color bulbs.
