Question

Advice please, we have flights to Thailand. Pokes for Thursday with Qatar. They have not cancelled and have said we can change the date. As of yet we don’t know when we are going to be able to go. We have insurance but would it cover for this? It doesn’t say anything specific. Don’t know what to do for the best tbh.

Check with travel insurance, my travel insurance wrote to me saying they would cover corona related disruption as long as you booked before March

Your insurance most likely wouldn't cover it unfortunately. Can they not put a hold on the booking until you can figure put when you can go? I know BA are doing that.

We were due to fly a week thursday with Oman air but not heard anything from them just that it's been cancelled!

We were supposed to be flying today with Virgin and they didn't cancel our flight until Tuesday last week (so 5 days ago) - we booked with Cuba Direct, our flights are going to be refunded, now it's cancelled, minus fuel surcharge (waiting on invoice), all accommodation, driver etc we have lost and are going to claim on insurance, as holiday was booked before March (booked last year)

My airline Easy jet sent me an email 2 days before departure. Very last minute but i logged on 3/4 days before and there was an option to cancel or amend. Try logging into your booking

Ask them for either a refund or a credit voucher to use once this is all over, I can’t see them being allowed to fly so should be refunding in full

They will probably notify you a couple of days before that they are cancelling, then you can get a refund. They leave it so late hoping you will get anxious and accept a voucher before they cancel.
