Looking at Going to Florida September 2021 with my Mum, 15 year old Son & 5 year old Daughter. Been looking at The Clarion hotel, somewhere near, basic & cheap. Only sleeping there so not worried about entertainment, food etc Has anyone stayed there before? Was looking at booking the hotel through Virgin but TUI is actually cheaper. Also looking at Disney tickets through the company Attraction tickets Any advice or ideas as I’m on a really tight budget ‍♂️☀️

Attraction tickets is probably the best bet. They sell park hopper tickets that are only available in the uk.

@caracal43 oh really, fantastic thank you  I’ll look now. So you’ve booked the whole package with Virgin? Accommodation, flights, tickets etc Do you know if you have to pay by 12 weeks before your holiday

@dysgraphia because I'm no going till nxt yr I'm no sure but I think it would be 12 wks before. I can't wait I went 4yr ago with my then partner we stayed on I drive but I've done loads of research & think I've got it right as can't afford Disney hotel but will spend more time at Disney, then use lynx bus service to universal or hotel shuttle xx

@caracal43 yes that’s what we said. Attraction tickets do 14 4 7 day tickets, which suits us as we wouldn’t do 14 days & you don’t have to go every day like you would if you just bought a 7 day hopper. Disney & Universal, not interested in the other parks. The Clarion is right by the airport which worries me

@dysgraphia aww no its the clarion lake buena vista I'm talking about, have a look & virgin do 14 day for price of 7 combo Disney & universal. Take a look at this hotel it's not to expensive & only 2mile from Disney springs where you can then get to any Disney park frm x

@dysgraphia awesome! I haven’t stayed at Clarion so cant comment on that really. I did book direct with Disney for hotel and meal plan this year which in the long run saved a lot for me personally. Just depends on the budget. I’ve done Villa, condos, Days Inn near Orlando convention centre and Disney direct. All have their perks. If you can get around by buses/lyft then I would suggest you choose this option. Mainly because on top of petrol, car hire costs and parking at the parks - it saves a huge chunk x

@anchor26565 I wouldn’t drive so definitely buses & a friend who lives there said she’d meet us etc I can’t afford Disney hotels, years ago if you stayed at the Disney hotels you didn’t buy tickets it was all part of it.

@dysgraphia I only done it for ease of travel, meal planning. But we’ve done it all kinds of way. I have heard Floridays is quite good. I’ve seen it decently priced as well. I know Ocean Florida offered a decent price for this last year

We stayed at the Clarion and loved it . it does exactly what it says on the tin. basic but clean, friendly and in a perfect location for all the Parks. within walking distance of quite a few restaurants and bars. Its not luxurious by any means but the beds are comfy and the bathrooms spotless. We were a party of 7. nanny and Grampy. mum , dad and 3 children x

@luncheonette633 I’m worried that they only have Queen beds & it’s Myself, my Mum, 5 year old Daughter & 15 year old son, he doesn’t want to share a bed lol

@dysgraphia that is an issue tbh but I'm sure you can hire a put up bed . might be an answer . if not a quick pop across to Walmart for a cheap blow up bed . To be honest after spending all day in the parks, he'll be ready to sleep on a chickens lip lol
