Is Sri Lanka on your bucket list? If you haven't been before then I strongly recommend the country! Out of the 40 countries I have visited it really is the one that ticks all the boxes! From amazing, food, amazing people, diversity in nature and weather, it really is a fantastic destination! Which country do you think we should all add to our bucket lists?

It’s top of my bucket list - I planned to go for my 40th, 2 years ago, but didn’t make it as I lost both my parents that year - I really hope to still be able to go when this is all over as it seems like such an amazing place  xx

I am very sorry to hear that, really hope you do make it out there, if you do, let me know, more than happy to provide recommendations!

I want Australia & Tasmania, hubby had always dreamed of the Maldives but not fit enough for leaping out of sea plane or small boat now.

We went to Sri Ianka in ApriI 2010 for 2 weeks and got an extra 10 days free courtesy of the ash cloud, it was fantastic. Have returned twice more a beautiful country and wonderful people.

Would love to go!

@shaman461 I felt Barbados was a bit of a let down. No where near as pretty as what I expected. Kefalonia is 10x more stunning.

I’ve been looking at it, can you leave the resort and walk round?
by (2.5k points)
@glowworm yes you can leave the resort and walk around/get tuck tucks to where you want to go. It obviously depends on where your hotel is as to what you can walk around/what is nearby
by (270 points)
@jalbert699 @glowworm we travelled around quite a bit and stayed at different places x

Feb April and October in the school holidays
by (270 points)
Yep, October was when we were there, was good - technically it's the rainy season but we quite enjoyed the afternoon storms!
