It seems u have to wait upto 28 days for the voucher after that email then u have to put in for the refund but how long that will take is anyone's guess :-( I'm still waiting for voucher code and I was due to fly on April 20th xx

I’d email them straight back telling them you want your money back within the 14 days stipulated. They are trying it on particularly with this in news

@giddens I got this email and emailed them back saying I want my refund in money within the 28 days as I had taken legal advice before sending email

TUI have said on their website that they will process refunds. All you have to do is wait for your refund credit to come through and then to call them, but they won’t be able to refund you unless you have received your refund credit email.

30th March, I left it a week after then called, I have also had a refund from easyjet and I should be flying out on the 12th May and yesterday I contacted klm for a flight to Japan I have booked for the 4th June and at the moment they are letting me move it up until December if I want to, but can't get a refund yet.

If you try the other option in their FAQ section you stand no chance of speaking to anyone, you get absolutely no chance.

@quaggy3375 how do i get my money back then

@bromide, good question. I have called every day for the last week and nothing. They say in their email to wait for a voucher number but after over a fortnight since they cancelled our holiday I don't even have that. This is actually against the law, as refunds should be with one in 14 days.

@quaggy3375 i wonder if we can apply for a refund from the bank as not receiving goods.
by (600 points)
@bromide, only if you paid on credit card.

Has anyone received their refund yet? I called on 18th March and it’s been way over 4 weeks and I’ve not had ANYTHING!  x

You have to wait on refund credit voucher unless you want to amend your booking to another time. I phoned my cc company as was enquiring about doing a charge back but they told me to give Tui time to process refund and only to contact cc after 4 weeks if date of travel. Tui have a fb page which might help you? I initially phoned them up to ask for refund a few days before 20% incentive but since then have ohoned them back, asked for the 20% and booked another holiday which I just feel more relaxed about now.
