What are some of your favorite snacks to have throughout the day? I am very new to the program and am finding that I'm staying pretty hungry. I've been eating a lot of the zero point items in between meals (bananas, blueberries, etc), but that's not really helping. Thanks!

I find protein keeps me full longer. Quest protein bars (4 points on blue) keep me full a long time and satisfy my sweet cravings. Also Greek yogurt mixed with Jello sugar free pudding mix. Fiber One has some yummy 2-3 point bars (be sure to scan first - some are higher). I have been known to fix a couple of scrambled eggs if I am really hungry.

Boiled eggs, string cheese, individual bags of Poppables for 2 pts. Lunch size bags of pretzels for 1, raw veggies, Built Bars are great for 3 points and big! Those have to be ordered from Built.

I do not look for snacks between my meals. Evenings I like goldfish crackers (1/3 cup) or veggie straws (55) and/or some fruit. Watermelon and strawberries fill me up. Just an FYI: Hanah, my maiden name is Strum. Thought it was interesting when I saw your name.

I don‘t just eat 0 point foods for snacks. My go to in the afternoon is an apple and a 1 point lite laughing cow cheese. The important thing is to find snacks that you enjoy. You say you’re staying hungry, pay attention to the cravings. Is it craving or is it hunger? I had so gotten used to being stuffed after every meal that when suddenly, I had only a certain amount I could eat in a day, that I realized, I had to train my brain and my stomach to the hunger vs craving cues. Hang in there, we are all in this together And as someone else said, it will get easier. Thank you for that.

Salads with baked/boiled/once in awhile fried skinless chicken breast, with assortment of different vegetables or fruit. I enjoy strawberry salads the best, and salads with small bits of cheeses (1/8 cup. ) Yogurts and no sodium broths can be filling. Filling lunch: small sandwich with small side salad or soup broth and water. Smaller portions more often then 3 regular or big meals a day help.
