HELP SOMEWHERE IN HERE A WHILE AGO I READ SOMEONE DID SPICE CAKE MIX WITH PUMPKIN INTO 12 MUFFINS. TO MAKE IT THREE POINTS EACH. HOW DO I DO THE RECIPE? IT'S COMING UP 7 POINTS PER SERVING. I THINK BECAUSE IT MAKES IT LIKE CAKE SLICES.

It depends on your plan, but the mini muffins are 3 points. That may be yours are higher

You’d have to make it into 24 muffins which is doable. But they will be smaller.

@udell404 this recipe would make 24 minis easily. I made 18 regular sized ones with one cake mix and one can of pumpkin.

This is 18. I melted two tablespoons of sugar free icing and drizzle on top.

@udell404 make sure you enter the whole cake mix and the whole can of pumpkin and then select 24 servings.

@fated ya but when you go to enter the recipe when you put in box it says 7 points per serving. I know it will not be that when I make muffins

You have to adjust the amount of servings.

@fated well I put in betty crocker spice cake mix and it comes up 7 servings so I think that is the whole box

Yup and Duncan hines says 10 servings so it is the whole box. This is awesome. Only one point per muffin

@fated Oh I got 3 points for 8. That's 3 of my trays. It is saying 7 servings to put the cake mix in as and 18 servings for thte muffins and it comes to 3 points for one.

@udell404 the cake is 10 servings. If you divide that into 24 muffins they will be 3pts each. My suggestion is use the chocolate sugar free cake mix and the points are a lot less.

@fated But my way did work. I put in the betty crocker spice mix cake and it comes up 7 servings for the whole box and it turns it to 52 servings when I click my muffins to 18 servings. Then it says 3 points each. So I will just buy this brand I like and go with this because I only need to make 18 muffins not 24.

I just want to let you know that it’s wrong to put the whole box in as 7 servings because the whole box is 10 servings which make it 74 pts for the whole box. If you make 18 muffins they will be 4pts each. If you make 24 they will be 3. Just trying to keep you from going over on your pts is all.

It's easy one box of spice cake mix, one can of pure pumpkin, and about 3/4 cup of water. I doubt the recipe to make more because my family loves them.
