For lunch today I had the zoodles from Olive Garden BUT I had the pesto sauce on the side and barely used any. With the sauce it’s 15points (I had the lunch portion). Now here’s my question- since I barely had any sauce (maybe a spoonful) how many points should I put? If you haven’t had it before it’s zucchini, broccoli, carrots, seasoned tomatoes, roasted red peppers and mushrooms. It had a few strips of grilled chicken on it as well.

Although the vegetables are zero points, they most likely have some oils on them. I would record 12 points, which is probably a bit high, but I always try to err on the high side.

On purple, all the items above would be zero points (not sure on other plans) and when I searched "pesto sauce" on the app, it shows 19 points for l/2 cup and 7 points for 3 tablespoons. If it were me, I would just estimate if you had around the 3 tablespoons of the sauce and calculate somewhere around that amount adding a point or two for any oil it could have in it. If chicken has points on your plan, add your points for that.

I always go on the high end when estimated my points. They most likely cooked the zoodles in oil so I'd count it as 11 or 12 points.
