We recently bought home security lights ONLY. For two weeks we’ve been trying to connect the bridge to our wifi. It won’t connect. I’ve called tech service who told me after our conversation they would call back. When they did I was on the phone and they never called back. I’ve submitted an online work order a week ago and have had no response. I’ve tried to leave my phone number to have tech help call back and the recording system doesn’t work. Tell me why I shouldn’t return these lights and get my money back. Can anyone tell me how to get wifi to connect? We have tried multiple times and multiple positions for the bridge with no success. My wifi is strong and works well. Any tips would be appreciated.

Are you referring to the base station as the bridge?

Arlo lights do not come with a base, you only get a bridge you need to get a base station to connect your bridge to then connect the lights to the bridge.

You can use Arlo lights with a bridge only. No base station. I setup mine with a bridge only.

Because Arlo won’t take them back lol. Very unreliable equipment and their CS is awful!

Thanksng , we get the whole spectrum. Start with amber, then purple, then blue. Blue flashes for many minutes and then goes back to purple.

You have to make sure the bridge can find the 2g network or you’ll never connect

Or she could just set it up the way its supposed to. And have multiple lights in different areas and the ability to show support with a green light or use at different holidays.

Okay, I tried again today, but still can’t connect. It finds the bridge but when it tries to connect to wifi it fails. Goes from blinking blue to blinking purple. Any more ideas? I tried with my iPad and two different iPhones. Nothing connects.

Thanksng , I have an AC1200 Linksys dual-band gigabit router. Installed November 2019. I think that means yes to your question. I am not proficient.

Are you able to log into the Linksys router and disable the 5GHz network temporarily?

Okay, got the 5G turned off tried again and still wouldn’t connect. The bridge goes back to blinking purple and won’t connect.
