Batteries are dc not ac. Ac comes from the electrical outlet.

@ax1 if you don't have 120/240 v at your electrical outlet then it has nothing to do with Arlo . All batteries operate on DC

This is hidden in the back of the manual- activity zones also don't work on solar power for the same reason.

I read that “cloud” activity zones work with the battery power. can’t seem to get them setup
