Does anyone know how to completely shut down activity zones? Clearly they don't work as advertised; I think that's Arlo's thing the misrepresentation. Also does anyone else adjust motion sensitivity to find out later that it's been adjusted by ghost after you the user set it?

If your motion sensitivity isn't what you set it for, you're probably making one of the common mistakes of either "setting" it in the wrong place or not clicking save after you make the change

Thanksng where is this "save" that you speak of? By this time tomorrow that sensitivity setting will revert to the default 80%.

That's because this is the motion sensitivity setting test. It is not where you set the operating sensitivity for the camera. To do that, you need to click Mode > Edit the mode by hitting the pencil to the right of the mode you want to use > edit the Rule for the camera with the pencil to the right > Edit the motion sensitivity by clicking the pencil to the right of Detects Motion > Set the sensitivity > click Back > Click Save

To delete the zone in the app, swipe it to the left and click delete

. I've had these for 2+ years and they've functioned marginally at best. Always goes sideways when I leave the area but work fine when I'm nearby. It's as if the Arlo nerds flip a switch when I cross the 100 miles from home threshold. ♂️

But they mostly work and I still like Arlo above the others for what it can do when it can.

Yes, they do mostly work 4 me. I bought mostly to watch the kids when outside. Now that the app. works on Google browser w out flash, even happier. I can deal w the small issues here and there.

So I have all of the parameters set so that my front camera where we park only records when something enters the activity zone and the sensitivity is set to 10%.
