Are the cameras and doorbell supposed to be listed under the smarthub or can I have them listed as separate devices?

Are the cameras and doorbell supposed to be listed under the smarthub or can I have them listed as separate devices? I want to have different modes for different cameras. Also, IFTTT only allows me to arm or disarm the hub, is there anyway to change the mode to armed, then to geofencing?

I believe the Arlo Video doorbell can be connected directly to your wifi OR to your smarthub. Connecting to the smarthub allows modes with IFTTT, I think, as well as local storage backup of recordings. If the range isn't too far, I think connecting via smarthub would be a better way to go
