What do you do when you save up a sinking fund for a holiday and then your SO doesn’t want to participate? I have $100 saved for Valentine’s Day and my bf won’t give me ideas and doesn’t want to go out. So what do I do with the cash?

Get a massage boo. If you really don’t want to use it on Valentine’s Day items you could use it towards another sinking fund! Like Xmas or something you have coming up

Buy yourself a valentines day gift! You budgeted for it, if he doesn't want to do anything, use it on yourself ‍♀️

Spend that money on you! He doesn’t want to participate then he doesn’t get to partake of the fruit of your labors! Pamper yourself!

Responsible response— sock it towards a debt. Otherwise, go do something nice for yourself.

Do something for yourself! If you don't wanna celebrate, move it to another holiday!

We don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day so my recommendation is to save the money and use it for a special dinner at another time.
